"What is a “Home”? Is it 2x4’s, sheetrock, shingles, and siding? No! That is a “House”.
For my wife and I the “House” became a reality after 10+ years of research. So many years of hopes and dreams, financial planning, and eventually five different blueprint revisions. It was literally over a thousand decisions to make about our vision, while considering functionality and aesthetics at the same time. We found the right building site, located in a community that we love, and a lot setting that complimented everything we were looking for.
That alone was not enough.
We needed a builder to share in our vision. Someone to understand our passion and dreams then bring it all together to make it real. Jon, Julie, and Chris Hokeness made that happen! We could not be happier. We met with six different contractors and Hokeness stood apart from the rest immediately. It was so comforting to work with them. Building a house is stressful, everyone will agree. We did not have that problem even in a Pandemic! They were patient, encouraging when we needed it, and their experience shined through in every step of the way. They met their timelines and budget as expected, and were very clear on change orders and recommendations for so many details. We will be forever grateful, and we have already recommended them to others and will continue to do so.
